Changing Times – Good News…Bad News:
Good News to start…Common Ties will be growing it’s Outpatient Therapy Program to provide more counseling services. We are in the process of hiring another therapist or two and are taking mainecare referrals for this expanded service.
For the bad news, we are forced to close our medication management program and we are in the process of making referrals for our existing clients. Medication Management continues to be a very important service for those in recovery, however it is becoming increasingly difficult to find and keep prescribers to fill the positions. We have been unable to fill the position to continue the services to our current clients and future referrals, therefore we needed to close the program. It is with great regret that we cannot continue to offer these services at the moment.
Common Ties will continue to offer Case Management, Housing Subsidy Services, the Wellness and Recovery Center, and an expanding Therapy/Counseling Service for adults with mental illness. Please call us at 795-6710 to make mainecare referrals.
